Hello. Here is my second post in my ever expanding wordpress blog. Hmm… What can a write a whole article on? Swine flu is a pretty big issue, but bigger than it should be. There are many people who die from common flu every year (around 12,000 in the UK). But I suppose as swine flu an now pass from human-to-human it could get pretty nasty.
But I think that humans rely on drugs to much; the human race isn’t evolving naturally. Maybe in years time humans will not catch up with the fast evolution of viruses and years of fighting against drugs with make it super-immune to the body’s defences.
Possibly, there will even emerge a virus that will turn everyone into zombies.
Hmm… That’s quite interesting. If the western world continues with good healthcare and developing countries don’t then theoretically they should be evolving faster than all of the rich countries. I think we may have missed a trick there.
Similarly, I wonder if people living near Chenobyl will evolve resistance to radiation… No probably not the latter but I think there is a good case for the former.
Oh look… I’ve written quite a lot in this article. Writing a blog must be easier than I thought.
